Re: stupid abs!

You take these:

Place them onto the ABS high-pressure accumulator bleed valves (under the rubber caps)

and on the proportioning valve under the master cylinder (back side, by firewall).

It's easy... don't make it hard.

Thanks for the clarification Throws. I appreciate the help.

Re: stupid abs!

I'm gona ask another question that might be stupid, but do I keep the clips on the high pressure bypasses even after the unit is bled when I go onto bleed the brakes themselves? I'm assuming no, but I just want to check. Thanks.

Re: stupid abs!

I just bled the ABS block and that seemed to go well, but then I actually decided to keep the clips on while I bled the brakes at each wheel. Air was coming out at each brake, but then stopped. So, i'm still wondering whether I should have taken them off after I bled the block. Thanks guys for the help.

Once the unit is bled, there's no reason for keeping those 2 clips on. Make sure you close the valves on the sides of the ABS unit before proceeding to the wheels.

Also: keep the clip on the prop valve until you're done.
