Well ... right now we are in the going through everything, organizing, and figuring out what needs to go on e-bay phase. The guy we bought it from had bought a TON of stuff from RPM and he also gave us all of the stock parts, so, we'll def keep the RPM stuff and sell most of the stock parts; there are a lot of duplicates. As for a comprehensive plan of attack, that's really it right now. I am trying to "know my role" and fetching beer and ciggarettes as needed, taking pictures and making sure that the boys don't kill each other or hurt themselves. So as soon as my other half can get his user name working on here, I am sure he will get to know a lot of you guys well!!

how about some pics, when the sunshine is happening. Looks like you have a fair amount of work ahead of you. It'l be worth it when it's running. You'l probably have no problem selling the stock parts. Most of it will sell pretty quick.

I will take some more tonight when I get home from workhopefully get some better light ... I'll take some of the garage too now that everything is unloaded.
Def lots of work lay ahead for us, but should be fun when it's all said and done!!!

Yep it was the one from ebay. Once we went and looked at it in person and saw all the extra and upgraded parts he had for it, I just couldn't pass it up. Luckily I have friend from work, who is a member on here, and owned a Sy that was stolen and totaled in a high speed police chase. He knows these little beasts inside out, so I have someone to help me put it back together.
I have a couple of quick noob questions,
The black wheels in the pics, was that a factory option? Or was that done by a previous owner?
And, a previous owner, from what we can tell, tried to paint the cladding on the front bumpers and the front fenders. :rant: How can I remove that paint and restore them to the factrry flat black?

It looks like a fun puzzel project. As mentioned above the rims have been painted, but look good (from the pics) and you don't ant to go flat balck with the cladding, that's for the short guys in the Syclones. Good luck, you mind sharing you purchase price?

We paid 6k for it ... thought it was a pretty good deal considering all of the extras that came along with. We are getting ready to put a bunch of stuff on e-bay to start making some of that money back. We have since bought a work bench for the garage so it is looking a lot better than it was. I am gonna take some more pics tonight when the man of the house gets back from his trip to Miami to buy another motor (one that is already balanced), so now we will have 3 engines in the garage!!! YIPPEE!!!! So when they get home tonight they can actually start working on getting it back into one piece again ...
