The pictures didn't make the trip. I can't see what he is talking about.

However, I have one of the Volvo fans but I don't have ether of the plates.

How much for just the plates (upper and bottom)?

KIT ONLY will be $65 + Shipping (PayPal will add this automatically)
FAN ONLY will be $65 + Shipping (I doubt anyone will be interested here)
KIT + FAN will be $110 + Shipping ($150 if you want me to trim off all the tabs)

The above is what i picked up from the last run.

what kind of benefits are we talking about? We'd lose the clutch driven fan, but then again we'd tax our electrical system more.

i am guessing room as well, And if you were so worried about losing power wise you could always add a capacitor.

Looks good, does it still cool as efficiently (I'd assume it would or better if people were switching...just wanted to make sure)? If so I'd be in for a complete kit.

fan flows 3000cfm.. I have one now sitting in the bed of my truck waiting for one of Jon's install kits :)

Hey all...
First of all I want to note that i don't have any fans. The local Volvo dealer isn't too happy about letting them go and my other source hasn't contacted me in quite some time now. I can ask again but cost will have to go up. All total on the last two batches I am in the hole a couple hundred bucks. I'm not looking to get this back, I'm glad that I was able to help out the comunity. But I think it's obvious that I can't go on at that rate.

Five paid orders and i will make another batch of mounting kits. It's absolutely everything you will need to install the Volvo fan... except for electrical. If you can get a fan it is a very nice set-up. Mine has been running off of the IC pump wire with a relay and 40 amp fuse. If the key is on, the fan is on. My temps are a little on the high side but I'm pulling air through two other coollers before it ever reaches the radiator so i expected it.

Im not home so I can't provide any serial numbers etc off of my fan right now but I know they came out of 2001 s80, v70 and s60 volvos

Shipping for previous kits have been right around $14-$18 kit only.
What if I make it $85 shipped and I will donate $10 from each kit to SyTy.net?
Basically that would be about $5 in your name and $5 in my name.
This way everyone gets the same price. Canada or Alaska will be higher shipping.

Yes, everything you need to mount it. A very simple electrical install would require a relay and 40amp fuse. I have a few fuses here for an additional $5 if you can't find one locally. Use the IC pump wire to energize the relay and run 10ga wire (fused near battery) to the fan.

I highly recommend this kit - fits perfectly!. Here are some install pics with a fan controller for those of you that decide to go that route.
