I think he doesn't care about tire ware, that's european thinking. When the tires are gone they are gone. All that matters is that they stick to the ground as long as they last and of course that they look good.
Europeans tend to like there rides stiffer in general so 20ies are just fine.
He has his Ranchos set to 4 all around anyway ;-) No coffe drinking in this truck! European roads are not like yours, we have lots of modified M3's, S3's RS4's and crap and of course lots of narrow curves!
Back in 93 it was fun to beat sportscars from traffic light to traffic light, today you have to kick there asses in the hills to make them belief! It's a g.d. war out here and a little 93 trucklet has to strike back day by day. May the force be with all them little SyTy's far from home....
As for the sidenote, the "gap" between the bumper and the wheel arch cladding is THE thing to show love and care for the SyTy over here in Europe! Roland has screwed the two parts together to get this fit.

with some wider rims in the back you can also put 305/25's in the back.
or in a few month you can go to 245/30-20 and 295/25-20. The 245's are not yet available but will come soon. this combo is a perfect match to our 245/50-16.
