Here is my situation I am getting a stumble at idle ..if I disconnect the tan wire on the computer the stumble stops...My whole ignition is new..all with the recommended stuff everyone uses here...Has anyone encountered same type of proble? What was the repair?....Thank you for your help..Rob
Has enyone ever encountered when there turn signal is on the gauges go up and down with them...also when you press on the brakes when you have the hazards on the hazards stop flashing?...Thanks ..
Im sorry..I know what you are feeling..your going through denial...I will be true to you...It will not get better...Your bearings are done....Start yanking the motor ...open it up and then open your wallet...Really wide...Your gonna have to spend some serious bucks now and a good amount of time...
Update..Checked Park/Neutral switch..OK..Pulled cap and rotor off..Removed ignition module checked all related plugs.cleaned out distributor rust and blow out with air...Reinstalled module with electric grease ..Repl cap and rotor with Conrad unit...Ran truck...SAME CRAP...
any one else have any...
The plugs are the stock delco CR-42ts...I just went out and got a Conrad cap and rotor part #DR2012G....Let you know how it goes...I will also check the park neutral switch...Thank you for your response..
Hey whats up...Ive been fighting this idle issue for a while now..
Lets see..well I am using a snap on scanner and ran all data...only spec I found off was the vaccum and map readings...I repl the unit w/ gm 2 bar sensor..My vaccuum on a mech. gauge is -21 about the same on the new...
