Re: why does water/alky work ? One other thing to add, is that a given volume of gas at a certain temp puts off a given psi. When introduced to a cooling agent, that same air volume cools, and the pressure is reduced, therby allowing more volume of air to enter the same space at the same psi...

Re: Turbo Troubles. Hello, I agree with the above mentioned boost guage, as well, the wastegate may need to be adjusted as well. Further, those are not vacuum lines, but boost pressure lines, jfyi. I'd unplug the battery to reset the ecm, then drive it a few miles, apply some boost, and then...

Re: pitman arm removal trouble an air hammer is the best method, bar none. Borrow one, or buy a cheapo. You will use it more often than you think. They will knock loose a ball joint it seconds. No pickle fork needed then.
