    AC retrofit??

Ummmm..........well I just did the retro fit on my S10 blazer daily driver about a month ago for $70 bucks total. System was fine (ie no compressor failure or leaks) just pretty much out of R12. So went to a shop and had them evacuate and pull a vacuum on it for an hour or so (cost was $40...

    Turbo oil feed line size???

Pics look good, thats exactly the look I'm after as well. How hard are the hose ends to put on?? I've heard everything from its easy to its a bitch. Order should be here Today from Summit. Oil feed line is gonna be -4 AN from the filter housing to the turbo. Coolant feed line is gonna be -6 AN...

    SYTY Guru's needed badly

I think the oil pressure unit is used as a back up to the fuel pump relay only. So I guess if both are jacked it would cause this, but that is unlikely. I would still check both the fuel pump relay and the oil pressure unit.

    Turbo oil feed line size???

You guys rock........... Just needed a confirmation before ordering the hose ends. They are a little pricey ($18.99) so I don't one to order 1 of each and then return the rest. -6 AN does sounds pretty big. Pics would be sweet if you can post them. I plan on using -4 AN but that will require a...

I still haven't been able to find posted anywhere what size the fitting is in the oil filter adapter and can't remove it to see until I find the right tool. Its obviously NPT plug, maybe 3/8", and has an odd allen type head on it. Could someone that knows clue me in :D Thanks for the info.

    metric conversion

Well just messing around with Datamaster. I pulled up a run taken on a truck with a 3bar chip and the ultimate. PSI was at 10.1 PSI with it set to 2bar. When I placed it in 3bar (as it should be) it went up to 15.9 PSI. So, I would bet the Auto X-ray is wrong and that the actual boost is around...

    metric conversion

Kpa x 0.1450= PSI 70 Kpa x 0.1450= 10.15 PSI Not sure if the X-ray knows how to convert from 2 bar to 3 bar like datamaster does. Might be an issue, but the conversion formula is correct and air tight.

    Two questions...

I'd say regardless of mods, anything over 17 PSI and your are spinning your wheels so to speak. Stock turbo is inefficient above that level and the extra heat you will create at 18-22 PSI would be couter productive. My .02 cents. HTH

    Turbo oil feed line size???

Great I appreciate it. Also, are there no problems with pulling oil from the filter as far as less oil to the motor? I have a stock oil pump and just want to make sure this won't starve the motor of oil. I'd rather have my turbo go down than the motor.

    Converting kpa to lbs

Shouldn't matter......units are units..........conversions are conversions...............3bar just gives higher boost reading capabilities........
