    Going to wire my TC lockup to night, just one Q?

    Why would it be hard on the TC? I really don't have a firm grasp on the innards of the lockup mechanism, but I'd think that having the direct mechanical connection would effectively take the converter out of the equation. I'd guess that there'd be less heat buildup too, since there's no slippage...

    Interesting... this may be the source of some of my problems, then. I'll try stuffing that K&N back in there and see if it helps. Thanks!

    Just two, eh? Then what goes in the hole on the driver's side? I honestly don't know, since mine had a little K&N breather in there (and no airbox) when I got it? Is it another 799C PCV valve, that's normally plumbed into the airbox?
