sucks, but it could be worse....

your truck could be missing altogether, or they could have gotten it running and really have done damage. Seems like its all cosmetic, much easier to fix than a thrashed motor/drivetrain.

Tailgates, grilles, and tail lights are cheap... the quest of finding parts begins.

Good luck, and make sure your insurance takes care of you as far as the truck is concerned. As for the people who stole it... death to each one who thought to do it and took part in doing it.

They finger printed around the doors, but thats about it. Vehicle has high miles, 160K so we will see. Cladding was off or it would have gotten really expensive quick. Adjuster will be out on Monday, so we will see. Fuel pump is dead, and with the cut wires, it will no longer turn over at all. They are going to have to prove to me that the electrical is perfect before this will be over.

Good luck with gettin her back on the road. I found mine tamplered with last night after I came out from dinner. The doors were locked but some how they got in. NO visible signs if forced entry but, the radio bezel and readio itself were pulled out 3" on the left side. I took a few minutes to get things back in place but no apparent damage to the dash or radio. Who TF would want a stock delco CD player anyway? I guess the alarm is next on the list.
