Re: Awesome tuning session!

Thanks guys....glad I could help. I always suspected that I was the greatest tuner alive, but this weekend reaffirmed that loud and clear. Getting a stock turbo truck into the 10's on Friday night was fun....and creating Code60 while I slept Saturday was just.....well....inspired. Glad you guys could be around me and bask in the incredibility that is my tuning skill. You're welcome.

Dix.........u r all dix.

Re: Awesome tuning session!

Hood emulated Code60 via WiFi into my Ostrich while I drove home and he was in Pope's truck. I even saw 28mpg on the way home.

Re: Awesome tuning session!

I would love to get some hands on tuning experience. i dont seem to learn much unless im busting a knuckle or screwing with a computer. An MP3 of the session/lesson would be awesome.

And whats this i read about stock turbo truck in the 10s!? hahahahha

A little more tuning and some 20 psi runs and you'll be amazed. That truck has ridiculous potential.

Really glad you made the event Mario....it was nice seeing you again.

Hood-do you have a decent base tune for 75lbers, vortecs, with pte63?

Thanks,

Re: Awesome tuning session!

I think the best was the BS-1 code that Jeff pulled out of no where on his truck. I mean he spent at least what, 6 or 7 hours working on this new code in nothing but probably shorts and a towel outside. Awesome work right there, and dedication. Talk about a ton of it.

Re: Awesome tuning session!

I raised the timing 15 degrees today, and added 8# of boost. I'm getting no knock, 2.3s 0-60 times and still managed to bump my highway mileage up again, now I'm getting 28mpg just like Adam. I keep wondering where the ceiling is on this new code?

Seriously, thanks to Hood for even trying. Fact is he goes through a lot for the syty community. I only hope the good outweighs the bad :)
