Cancelling Hotel?

They wouldn't honor price as was past deadline of June 5th.
I mentioned this was my 4th year coming, and I wasn't happy.
didn't tell them I would be lighting driveway on fire again as revenge.
He did say if someone is cancelling I can get them to transfer to me for the lower rate.
Worst case I will make a big scene when I check in in front of customers, etc. That usually gets more attention than over phone.

I agree, make a huge scene in the lobby and they should honor it.
We should still be well within our reserved room #.
Was your original reservation made before June 5th?
B/C then you aren't making a "New" reservation you are modifying an existing one.
I don't have the name of our contact at the hotel since I didn't handle that end, but I would hope they would honor the rate if the rooms arent reserved yet.

Jeff, there "might" be an extra bed, if not an extra room available. We'll figure it out on Thursday if you dont have plans to call up the hotel and curse them out before then.
Mike has a room and I have a room, which I was originally sharing with my g/f, however we recently split up, so now I have my own room
. As long as my request for a king bed did not happen, there should be 2 beds in my room.
As far as Mike goes, I cant speak for him, he said he wouldnt mind sharing a room with me, so I guess we'll see how things pan out when we get to the hotel cause there are probably 3-4 senarios that could take place and there is no point in typing them all out now.

Let the hotel know that you are a CONTRIBUTING VENDOR to the Nats, which is bringing them the damn business and filling the rooms....

Let the hotel know that if they dont honor the discount for one of your vendors, your pulling the nats from ever going back to their hotel in the future.
