Grundy Sucks!! My truck is in really good shape. So I sent them pics of the truck as they asked of the side, engine bay, bed etc.. They declined me because of some scratches in the bed! The truck never hauled anything and it is not rated for it from the factory i told them. It has 40K on it. It never see's the rain. They seemed to be the only company i came up with that had unlimited mileage. Does anyone know or use another company that is good that offers unlimited mileage?? thanks

Collector car insurance.
I have an agreed upon value policy from State Farm and I am happy with it.
No claims, but its listed as a Ty and i get paid a flat amount if its stolen or totalled.
they have pics of my truck from every angle but it doesn't have any scratches.

I'd say most are not FIRM on the mileage thing just that you don't use it as a daily driver.
my dad has insurance on most of his vehicles. Had to make 2 claims in past 10 years or so. last one was when my brother was driving the car, who he wasn't even 25 or insured. They covered it without much question. Wasn't big damage, just a bumper but still.
I think he uses JC Taylor but I doubt they cover our trucks.

Here is the problem. I called a few of them and most don't wanna insure any 4x4 Trucks which is what our is labeled as AWD. I had problems too but now i have allstate covered as a custom truck with 20,000 replacement value and we are good to go and drive it anywhere.

I use "American Modern Home Ins Co." Agent ph: 866/675-3665 All the usual restrictions. Agreed value 14K 5000 mile limit per year. Supplied 4 outside photos in the beginning 5 years ago, haven't talked to 'em since.

had american moderm home this yr. policy for 1 yr was 348$ i think. theyu cancelled me after looking in my background, but they offer different mileage things i pretty sure.

That's weird, I've got Grundy on my sy, t-type and firehawk. All they asked for was frontal and side shots, never questioned anything. :dunno:

I have an agreed value police with Grundy on my Ty and SS; no questions either, just a couple of photos.

I Just switched to Grundy I had Hagerty they were charging $520.00 and there were deductibles,
Grundy is $312.00 with no deuctibles both were for $20,000.00 agreed value sent shots of front angled, back angled opposite side vin shot and interior, no problem. In the future never take pics of
the bed area, they saw that it had been used and figured you were hauling stuff.
That still Sucks.

dont almost all Sys have a Tonneau Cover? why show them the bed,its just a truck bed, looks better with the cover on and it looks like a show vehicle, not a work vehicle

They specifically asked me for photos of the bed to see if I was or will be hauling stuff. The bed has some scratches in it from stuff being in it but it never hauled anything. Its almost borderline waxable. When they saw the rest of the pics they should have realized it obviously was'nt a work muel Something doesnt sound right, the guy on the phone said "Mr. Grundy" didnt approve of the bed. when I first called the underwriter told me she was the one who passed the cars through. Then the guy told me its not a collector car?? Idiot. or not telling me the real reason
