you can see the "L" shaped bracket where the rachet and the 2nd down from top arrow arrow is pointing to.

The smaller lengh of the bracket goes into a screw that are pushed into the back of the metal bumper support, and the longer length goes on one of the CCHE bolts as you can see.

The part that mounts on the bumper is just a washer, lock washer and 1/2" (? size) nut, while the bolt is just one of the CCHE bolts with a washer.

HTH

If you need a better pick, lemme know, i'll snap one tomorrow.

the L shapped braket (2 of them) should be #13, and the front of it bolts to #3. The long side bolts flat where the cche bolts go into the frame

THIS IS WHY I JUST LOVE THE BB.
THANKS TO BOTH OF YOU - VERY VERY MUCH.
oops - caps lock - sorry.
i guess i am short an l brakcet, but that shouldnt be hard to make - *IF* -
would u guys consider these brackets mandatory?
is 1 enough?
gratefully,
mike

they mostly keep your fog lights from bouncing around. Some one with an air/air core may have some extras for you, although they would be easy to make.

sweet - and thanks
my front end is so fubar'd i dont use the fogs anyway, so in it shall go as is with one bracket.
btw, a killer fan app CHEAP is from sac-cycles.com...
i got a yamaha fzr1000 fan, which is a nice little shrouded unit and amazingly powerful - fits perfectly - i used one i had laying round along with a spal, but 2 would be utterly perfect and stupid cheap.
they're pullers - i screwed the yamahopper fan right to the shroud assembly.
i can snap a pic b4 mounting if anyone cares.
thnaks again for the info guys - hope i can help u out sometime
mike
