Sonoma GT Typhoon Swap

I am the PROUD owner of Sonoma GT #80 and thru a series of unfortunate events now the PROUD owner of Typhoon #260 after a rollover. As a result of all this I have the opportunity to swap the entire drivetrain and make my Sonoma GT basically a Syclone! Just gotta ask am I nuts or a genius for this idea?

2wd frames and 4wd frames are a little different.

You might be able to get motor/computer/wires and trans. AWD is probably out of the question ?

Still a fun ride.

You could do a frame swap to a 4WD, but I've heard a 2WD cab has to be massaged to fit the 4wd frame and running gear.
I thought of doing that to my 2wd ext cab body, being it is in almost perfect shape, to make a full ext cab Syclone :)

Sonoma GT Typhoon Swap

I thought about doing a 2WD Turbo truck like this at one point too. I think I have all the extra parts I'd need; but in the end it'd have all the finickyness of a SyTy without the AWD goodness.

Part out what's left of the Ty, buy a GN engine, and do this instead:

You can always save yourself alot of trouble and just drop a v8 in the gt.
