took a 1st gen lightning

came up behind a 1st gen... he saw me in the rear view....sit at the light for a sec, and we both make a right turn onto a cut through road....

i get up next to him at about 25mph...he immediatly goes WOT.... i pause and let him get 2 lengths and stomp on it...

come up on him hard and roll past him with ease....

i let off and he comes back up and yells out "BADASS TRUCK!"

we go one more quick time, i roll on him again... he gives me the thumbs up as he turns off....



he was obviously stock, did have exhaust though.....

Nice job! There's a Lightning that comes to our local spot every now and then. Some skinny gomer driving it. But it's BAD. He's got rims on it, full exhaust, and who knows what else. ( I always pull in as he's leaving) I wouldn't mess him!

Those 1st gen Lights are slugs(not bad for what they are stock). I had 2, didn't even bother to run a SY/TY and waste my gas getting beat. I know there is some modded ones around that run pretty good.

The new'02 L's are building up on dealer lots around here. I imagine they will finally be dealing on them soon.
