Just curious as to where all the "old" timers have went and hidden at. Been gone for awhile and just looking to see where everyone from the old days have gone to....Steve Nunley, Ivan Phipps, Peter Humblias, Chris P., Wanda Brooks, Cheryl, Pete and Nicki Gardepe, Guy Lavy, Brian Hartman, Sean Morris, and all the true syty gurus.

........well it really depends, but some of the gurus were driven off by the classic syty community BS..that was years ago.

Whoa...Holli, what up!
SyTy has changed alot and people have come and gone.

Ivan the Terrible and Chris Pearson left the scene when they both got into a public war when Ivan and Chris's now ex-wife got together. Ugly fall out and very much a low time for the list and the community. It took awhile for recovery, but IMHO it hasnt been the same since and has never made a 100% recovery. Chris hung it up for good when I just recently bought ChromeBoy from him.

Peter H. sold his Sy...got into Supras for awhile. I think now hes just doing his business in law.

Cheryl still roams....shes on here.

Havent seen Pete or Nicki in a long time.... they are on S-Seriesforums.com now and then.

Guy Lavy last I heard, his truck was stolen and never got back into it.

Hartman is still floating around....just not so much in the public eye anymore.

Sean is still around... though most of his time is spent working with the Skyline GTR on various projects for very large name companies. He recently just finished up helping work on the set of Fast and Furious 3 with keeping the cars running... and is now Crew Chief of the first ever Skyline GTR team on the SPEED World Challenge circuit under SCCA. I'll be hanging out with him this weekend. Hes still living a rockstar life we all dream of.

Andrew Shwartz of Auto Syndiate faded out when his truck was stolen and he closed up Auto Syndicate. He realized that SyTy wasnt a profit making for his dreams and ideas and went on to other aspects of vehicles. Hes into the high end stuff and classics now. I believe his current ride is a late 60s Caddy bagged on 22s.

Brian Green still roams. Gone through a a few trucks, supra and now pimps a Del Sol last I heard and got married.

Bdubb sold his truck and left the scene when he landed a high paying job and started rollin in vettes and the higher end stuff. Hes a local hero in Addison.

Hartman is still doing trannies, just driven off by board bs. He hasn't been on here in a long time

I say anyone that has been here since 98 or longer, get to posting. Lets just see how many of us have stayed around.

Re: What's happened to the "old" timers?

98 was my first year.

My first couple months of ownership were watching for emails to arrive detailing out the sean morris and andrew pranks upon their arrival to the first syty nats.

That was the best way to appear ever IMO.

I haven't seen them on the board in a long time either, but they are still around. I saw Nicki a couple of months ago.

I think he turned straight and ditched the Del Slo. He's got a WRX STi, last I heard.

Old timer checking in.

This thread makes me remember the nightly ICQ chats until midnight or later. I seem to remember quite a few drunken FL members saying some VERY funny things.
