Well, if I can get the a1000 to prime tomorrow, looks like I may be firing it up. Hoping to have it driving this weekend and if I do, we are going to clean the living crap out of it and take some decent pics.
BTW, what would you guys think of either;
red/black decals on the Z06 spoke(one per wheel)
or
Black with flat black outlines in the stock locations
?????

Well well, seems when ever I take a step forward I I take two back. A1000 wont prime. I give up on the POS. I think it is great some guys have had theirs for XX years and never ahd an issue but I had problems with mine from week 1. So I got me a Weldon DB2025 from ebay for $340 shipped. I just got done making the bracket and installing a shut off valve. Maybe I'll post some pics tomorrow but my plan is to hopefully try and fire it up again this weekend.
With any luck, it will fire up and I can spend the weekend buttoning it up and hopefully drive the bastard on Sunday.

Well, almost done. I installed the Weldon today and it primes up perfectly. I went to start the truck and the battery is dieing so I need to get that taken care of. I pushed the Ty out of the garage so when I start it up I can adjust the rockers and set the timing. I took a few pics. Once I get everything square for driving conditions I will put everything else back together.
Also, since I cant figure out what I did with my old clear lenses and they don't seem to sell them anymore, I found some nice stock marker and corner lenses and I am going to smoke them. Fingers crossed on that one:lol:

The truck is looking great mike but your buffer guy needs to come to my school of buffing......those are some serious swirls!!!!
If you need some help getting the paint right holla at me I can walk you through a perfect buff job. Congrats on getting it done though it looks awesome. Mine is almost done to, 3 more weeks.

The swirls can only be seen in the tail gate and that is because we didn't do it on the gate due to me breaking the back window on it. It scratched it real bad down to the metal and it is going to be re-painted along with the rear bumper cover. The rest of the paint may look a little dull because I haven't washed it off yet from when it was sanded and buffed but, I assure you, it is SHINY!
