I had scoop envy... so had to make sure mine was bigger ;)

Yup, the bottom of the scoop lines up right on top of the first cooling canal.

I'll post up the actual figures tomorrow, but from the logging I did this past weekend it looks like my IATs dropped somewhere between 12 and 15 degrees during cruise (this is just adding the DutchTy cooler and the blade of death). Temps at the end of a run appear to be 20 degrees cooler..... like I said I'll dig out similar ambient temp runs tomorrow and post the actual results... I'm happy! :D

I drove to a car show 40 miles away this past weekend. I opened the hood when I parked at the event... intercooler was almost cold, intake was hot... it's definitely working.

Simple laws of physics tell me it has to work. More surface cooling area and a greater water capacity will be less apt to heat soak in the lower. Water stays in there longer before exit and has more time to cool. Cooler exit at the lower means cooler inlet at the upper. It has to work. Everyone should have one (well except you A2A guys).

I think I'm going to pass on this. You can let someone else take it. Maybe sometime in the future I'll give it another shot.
