    Re: new engine build. Did you check that the timing is set to 0* with the tan wire disconnected? You should also verify that the ring on the balancer hasn't slipped.

    Re: Curious to if my Trans or Transfer case is ok? It sounds like it's pulling timing (knock). Is your TC locking when it should? Are your brakes dragging? I have never noticed a difference between a GN and a SY in a straight line. :2cents:
