I talked with Ed O'Rouke today and he had interest in doing up a 2009 SyTy Calender. To help him out, I am in charge of spreading the word and collecting pics.

Ed will be picking the pictures to use. He wants the best of the best. Those who dont know Ed or his Calenders, his stuff is high quality. As of right now, I DO NOT KNOW COST. I will get that info from Ed soon. You can see past calenders here: http://www.tyclone.com/

So heres the deal:

- HIGH RESOLUTION PICS ONLY, 300dpi or BETTER
If you send me low res or something that isnt printable, its getting trashed.

- Cut off for sending pics is Nov. 15th.
In order to get the calenders laid out and printed and delivered before 09, you gotta get your submission in by then.

- Go crazy on multiple submissions. I dont care...but please...if your going to send me multiple pictures, PLEASE PUT THEM IN A ZIP FILE. If you dont know how to "zip" a folder, read this

- Include your FULL NAME, Year (92 or 93 for Tys) and # of your truck

I havent cleaned it since taking from him . I can submit new florida backdrop dirty pics of it if you like .

I did have to take off all the blue tape though , that sh*t just wasnt right ..:lol:

I'll send pics next week when I can use my friends digital slr and take the truck somewhere with a nice background.

No cropping, leave whatever size you have.

License plate editing.... um, good question. Do plates really have to be editing out? Calenders basically only get sold to SyTy people on this board...not sure if anyone would do anything maliciuos? Not really sure on the plate thing....

Im gonna take a pic this weekend of me crushing my Ty with a John Deere 490E Excavator since we have one in the yard now :lol:

Would make a decent Sept / Oct photo. ;)

I think there is a 98304980344% less chance of someone buying this calendar doing harm to someones truck than some douchebag who sees one driving on the highway.

License plates are not social security numbers.

what about photoshop'd pics? I may have one or two pics to submit, but i'd rather clean up the blemishes on my truck and align the bumper first. :lol: :lol:

How come I have these thoughts of you taking a picture and spending 5hrs in photoshop fixing the bumper alignment knowing it would have been 2 hrs to actually fix it?

Or is that would I would have done if I was a photoshop expert?
