Truckless. For now.
Re: 2009 SyTy CALENDARS!

How come I have these thoughts of you taking a picture and spending 5hrs in photoshop fixing the bumper alignment knowing it would have been 2 hrs to actually fix it?

Or is that would I would have done if I was a photoshop expert?

2 hours? that's not bad. I might give that a try sometime!

But I > Photoshop. Fixing a crooked bumper in PS for me is only a 5 minute job.... Way easier! :rotf:

Re: 2009 SyTy CALENDARS!

I didn't realize I made it into the 08' Calendar!! I submitted my photo and didn't hear anything back. Forgot about it and decided to look at the calendars and low and behold there is my 92'.

Well here is a descent pic of the 93' I had this year. It's not as artsy as my last submittal, but my 92' is under the knife right now and isn't looking pretty.

I have seen the new owner on the forum a couple of times, he should probably be posting up the images but I'd love to make it two years in a row!

I'm planning on coming back next year with a vengance though. My wife is a photographer and she promised to take some sweet pics of my Ty and the Sonoma.

Cool.... getting some good pics.

Just a reminder...you gotta email them to me. I cant right click save-as off here. It leaves me with a low res 72dpi picture that is not print friendly.

Vinnie, have you got the High-res of those pics?

I doubt it. I guess i need to get some new ones when im driving down to the Hooters meet. I will stop if i see a nice area with a nice background. Anyone have an idea where there is a nice area from new york going to the hooters meet that will have a nice background. I always wanted some nice photos of my truck anyway so it will work out.

SY0237 - When is the last day to submit photos i want to make sure i put it in my calendar. I want to at least try to make it in this year. ;)

Ed gave me the cutoff at Nov 15th.

If you have a meet or event coming up, group shots would be great. Ideal pics would be on a good background (no people, other vehicles, signs...unless they go with the pic, etc)

We should be able to get you some shots from Hooters, NJ. Don, Renz (?), and Ralph are particularly good photographers.

I think a lot of these pics would be really awesome w/o the plates on them unless they were sy/ty plates...:2cents:

My ass. Look at it.
Re: 2009 SyTy CALENDARS!

Being what they are, I think it would be hilarious to have a SyTy calendar with pictures of broken trucks. :rotf:

I sent one pic in. I am horrible with a camera. How do i take good pics when the sun is starting to set? If my flash is off the pics dont come out so good and when its on the picture color doesnt look correct....i cant win. I have a canon sd630. This is the one i sent in if anyone can tell me what i did wrong. It was brighter out then what you can see in the picture.
