Yes, you can retain the vents and the rear window button. Will have pics of that bezel either wed or Thursday. I had him make both versions in case your running an AC delete kit and want the extra pocket.
My only other question was about the air guys now that the vents are a go.when do you think you'll be ready to ship. The old Ty wants another upgrade..thanks tj
He will have the first 3 done by the end of next week. He said the pricing is going to be around 189.00. Trying to get him a little lower but he's paying between 35.00 and 55.00 for each bezel before he cuts them and forms them up
I'm going to find out. Disregard the pricing that he puts up on his site. He said he's going to list them up for 249.99. But I told him about the syty community and I will have the first 10 for sale for either 189.99 or a little cheaper. I will ask about core exchange. He really does amazing work. I have 3 durangos for my guys at work and I put double dins in all of them. Here is a entire piece that he wound up doing for me. Mind you that the Durango is same din and half setup as out trucks and is molded as such. The work is amazing.
If anyone can get me cores cheap from a junkyard so I can get them to him that would be great. If you can get them for 10.00-15.00 that would be great.
He just sent out 2 of mine and plan on doing an install with a new double din either this weekend or hopefully early next week. I haven't had a chance to breath with work but he should have pricing sorted by the end of week. One recommendation to anyone installing a double din would be to use this new double din radio that I just purchased. I think it's around the 300 mark but I have to double check, and is the most insane radio I've ever seen. It's a no name brand but runs the latest version of android, has iPhone capabilities, obd capable so you can have digital gauges on it, back up cam ports. It's crazy. Also has lte ports for a USB card. I bought 5 different flavors of the radio for a few of my cars and I'm literally blown away by the capabilities. In my opinion it's 10x better than a PC based system because it links in with everything and is essentially a PC but almost has the android OS formatted for an auto. I'll take some screen shots tonight when I head back out to the garage. But this radio is probally the best purchase I've made in a long time.
Just took a quick video but you guys will get the point. These radios are insane. Last year I bought an alpine and a pioneer that I think were around 1000.00 for one and a little over 1200.00 for the alpine. The technology on this radio for a few hundred bucks makes those other radios appear like they were made in 1985. You can also do multiple Bluetooth connections, has multiple video ports if you were doing like a front and rear camera setup. There is virtually nothing that this radio cannot do.
