I was in touch with Dennis at doublemods and he is currently working on the bezel with the vents once they are completed he will add photo of them on his site

I emailed Dennis back asking for an update.

I want the same trust me.
I have 22 cores sitting here ready to ship as son as he can take them on.
He's very busy and the corvette stuff never slows down. lol

Dennis sent a reply.

The With Vents bezels are up on his site and orderable now.
No word on GP or group discounts.
He merely sent the link and said they are orderable.

I am not organizing a group buy or anything. I was merely interested for myself and kept in contact with Dennis when the original project organizer jumped ship.

Damn, hope we can get him to do a GP and get them back down to 100.
i'd be down tonight, but I think 200 is a bit expensive when you can just get a flip out screen for not much more than that these days.

super cool piece though, next he needs to do an ipad mini, i'd probably actually pay 200 for that

I have a flip out Pioneer in my Ty and TBH it's awful compared to my JVC double din in my XTerra. User interface is laggy/slow, screen bends back when you push it, switching to Navigation is a whole other app that needs loading, the quality of the touchscreen is meh compared to the JVC DD.

I hope these turn out to be 100% professionally made. I suspect we're gonna have to paint them to match and somehow rig an internal mount etc for the headunit.

I had a double din made from Dennis in my Z06, it was very well done and you couldn't tell it wasn't factory. Very well made piece. I suspect these would be the same.

I am gonna have to get one of these as well for my next Ty... I have a double din Sony in the Impala now and love it. Would like to get the same thing for the Ty once I get one and have the same radio in it... thanks to the guys who got this started and kept with it!!!:tup:
