All I have to do now is add a custom A/A system which is in the works and hook up my pyrometer. This feat has certainly been a labor of time, patience and love but I could not be more pleased with the outcome.

holy sh*t this is funny..

is it something against T-Bone or the truck itself?

T-bone, good job getting the truck back together, this was one of those that some of the OGs assumed would never ever run again

Don't hold back Dave........ tell us how you really feel........

Looks good T, the color is nice and different. Hope it's as quick and handles as good as it looks. Could you show some more under hood pics?

Where's the love, brotha!!! Sorry for your bitterness toward the truck (and what appears to be yourself for not buying it). Some good news though; it is resting in my ADT protected garage, which is additionally patrolled 24/7 by my boxer so "stolen and stripped" is a highly unlikely scenario.

I really like the blue color hues in this shot, so I dedicate this pic to you until I get some knock me down shots of it for you by the blue "fountain equipped" pond on the local military golf course ;).

Appreciate the kudo's. I hope to get a couple shots of it from the underside as Sycho's meticulousness motivated me to do some neat things to it. Debating on whether to post them though as Dave P. is struggling with an Aspen illness (j/k).

Some backyard job but the truck luvs it. Hope to have some track data on it before long with video. Betting it will churn out in the neighborhood of a 10.8 - 11.2 but time will tell. Experience has leaned toward everything feeling fast until it gets to the track for a reality check but this drivetrain is NOT timid and that has been proven already, so we will see.

only thing i don't like, is the yellow calipers.. only problem is, I have no idea what color would look good.. maybe silver.. don't think black or red would look good..

Thanks, Steve. I coated one caliper with yellow 2000 degree caliper paint I obtained from Italy in 2002 and I did another on the opposite side in black. My wife was 48% for the yellow and 52% for the black and since I don't like to be like every other Joe driving around, I went with the yellow. It looks nice to me and really makes the C5 brakes stand out on the front and rear.

I grinded off the raised "Corvette", prepped the surface with 2000 grit and spent about 30-40 minutes on each caliper. They look gooder in person.....and I am not at all fond of yellow ;).
