rods kocking dont make a whirring sound like a baseball card in your spokes.

So does it realy sound like a baseball card or a metallic knocking sound banging?

you might also pull the valve covers to be sure it isnt just a rocker bolt that loosened up....

and if thats not it but is definatley a whirring and not a knock then i would wonder if somehow the timing chain is rubbing the cover.

Jesus guys...my tow truck driver only works monday - friday 9-5. I'm not getting under the syclone to remove the aluminum cover to look at something I can't see without a light w/ just a tire changing jack.

That and I'm taking an 'effn break...this truck is killing me. Yesterday I decided to stay late at work and 1) track the status of an injured soldier coming back from Iraq and 2) apply for a house loan. Today I bought a third car as this syclone obviously isn't going to cut it as a daily driver. I'll update when I can.
