thats cause the truck in his avatar is not his truck. The truck in his avatar was Alan D.'s The actual pictures were dark, making the truck look really dark royal as well. Alan sold the truck quite awhile ago. I believe it's still in HI.

Hey guys thanks , I just got back from Irwindale speedway, I just got my freshly paintedGN and streched her legs on the highway.My cousin PweterSS ran cuz i couldnt with a broken windshield.
I live in San Bernardino area and work in law enforcment, so I have alot of stress to release on these cars.

Ty's are awesome. I own a 30k mile 92 black Ty in mint condition. But I question why you would trade a 87 GN for one?????
I owned 15 GN's and still own a 87 Grand National with 22k miles & EVERY OPTION moonroof etc.. that just won first in stock original at Buick performance weekends car show at Englishtown Raceway Park. And also a 5k mile hardtop GN in mint original condition. Was your GN a high mileage car in need of work? any regrets?
GN's get HUGE $$$ in original low mile condition. Good luck with your Ty and leave it stock . A exhaust mod would be nice. I just took my original exhaust off and added a 3 in stainless. WOW, runs great!! picked up a few hp and sounds great too. some of my cars listed below . Good Luck!

Thanks I will post up pics soon I promise, Well the GN was fun but I always wanted a SY/TY, TY's are a little bit slower comfortable. Its cool I still have another GN, its in better condition than the one I got rid of!
I was wondering ehy Idle is funcky on these trucks? is that normal! I already changed plugs and cap & rotar my truck has 102000 miles, what is next?

If you already did a tune up. Most likely a rough idle is due to a vacuum leak:2cents:

That makes me sad to here a Gn has rust from florida,because my Gn has been in WI all its life and has zero rust.I take everything apart with hand tools no air tools what so ever.And the wifes ty came from west virginia and its the same way.Must be from neglect..for sure..

You have to be honest and explain to everyone why its up for sale after owning it for a few weeks or a few months if it has been that long. Something has to be up with that truck. Its a rare color but everyone that i have heard that has gone to see the truck has walked away. I have spoken to the seller a few times when i was looking and becasue it was to far for me i just gave up. I think im glad i did!!!
Let us know whats really up with it.

Theres nothing really mechanicaly or cosmeticly wrong with this truck, I have recently performed the tune up. The only thing I recently saw was that it needs a tranny mount, minor idle surge I dont kow whats normal but idle fine after warm up. I just money because Im in the process of buying a house. The transmission was rebuilt by GM dealer about 3yrs ago I have the documentation. Its ready to go

I dont know why anyone is surprised. MOST (not saying all) GN owners buys these trucks with a far different perception of them and when they find out it is not the same thing they go back for sale. I have seen this happen a few times even in my own own town.
