Re: New idler pulley still available (#10129560)? Old thread but I'm dealing with this now. The plastic idler pulley on my Ty just failed. A few years ago I purchased a Delco pulley numbered 10129560 and stuck it on the shelf. It is a metal pulley.

Re: Can't remove Front Drive Axles Try tapping around the circumference with a rubber mallet. Last week I had to use a 16 ounce framing hammer to bludgeon the front driver's hub off my Jimmy's axle shaft. But in your case start with a gentler touch since it's a Ty.
