I can't wait to drive it again. It's been almost 8 years now. Motor is out of Sycho's old Sy. Ran 10.19 in his Sy on 116 and only 15psi. stock block, stock crank, 4 bolts, eagle rods, JE pistons, 10:1 compression, iirc, L35, 2.02/1.60 valves, custom cam by Harry Anderson, 63mm turbo, ATR headers, stock upper intercooler, and will be running FAST xfi, all going through a Level 6 4L60e from RPM Transmissions

Lower ball joints are installed wrong!
If you put the Ball joint on top like you have, all the stress from weight of vehicle is transmitted through the 4 bolts only. If you install it under the flange as the stock arms are then the flange takes the load and bolts just purely locate it.

It'll be there as long as its within a 12 hour drive. Might not be running, but it should be mostly put together by then.

Not sure if you're bothered but you could do the motor mount mod with a welder so you don't have to mess around at the back of the frame pads with the nuts. I need to do it on mine - I hate the motor mounts job. :tdown:

Do you remember if the pistons were 10:1 or were the heads milled down for that compression. Seems high and suprised you were able to run 26psi with that

Eh, close enough. I don't plan on pushing it that hard anyways. If it breaks, it'll be down for another 8 years.

Heads were never milled, pistons were high compression. 15lbs with 93, 26lbs was only with 116, lowered timing a bit...

Was unable to make it down this week. Dad finished up the steering and the brakes. I'll be heading down tomorrow so we can throw the body back on the frame and wait for the paint guy to be ready for it. Should be a few weeks. But, he's been telling me that for 2 months now, so we'll see. Again, shitty pics with shitty camera. I'll get better ones tomorrow.
Color is kinda off on this one. They are actually much darker and match the Garnet color pretty well. Still need to paint the Corvette on the calipers gray, which will get done while it's at paint.

Don't know about that. There's going to be a ton of little shit to finish up once it's back from paint. It might be close.
